Basketball Recap: Waco Christian Takes a Loss

Waco Christian lost against Excel Christian Academy last Saturday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Waco Christian Warriors had to suffer through an 80-36 loss at the hands of the Excel Christian Academy Eagles. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kaiden Ward continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Excel Christian Academy, dropping a double-double with 22 points and 20 boards. Ward is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 20 or more in each of the last 15 games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ashton Mcknight, who posted 13 points.

Waco Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Excel Christian Academy, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-12 record this season.

As of now, neither Waco Christian nor Excel Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
