Steele had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.8 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They walked away with a 59-52 win over the Clemens Buffaloes. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 56-52 back in December of 2024.

Despite the loss, Clemens still got an impressive performance from Christian Dupree, who went 8 for 13 en route to 19 points and seven rebounds. What's more, Dupree also racked up four assists, the most he's had since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Letrell Hoover, who went 6 of 9 on his way to 16 points and seven boards.

Steele's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-2. As for Clemens, their loss dropped their record down to 17-11.
