Softball Recap: Breckenridge Triumphs

Breckenridge hadn't done well against Barnesville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Tuesday. The Cowboys put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 10-0 victory. This was a revenge game for the Cowboys: when they faced off against the Trojans on Tuesday, they had to take a 8-7 loss.

Breckenridge got a great performance from Marley Mumm as she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Adi Dodge was incredible, going a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Sydni Roberts, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs and one stolen base.
