Ansonia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 78-58 to the National Trail Blazers. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Ansonia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for National Trail, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 6-9.

Ansonia will head out to challenge Lehman Catholic at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lehman Catholic will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Ansonia surely won't give up without a fight. As for National Trail, they will challenge Brookville at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.
