Softball Recap: Paradise Valley Christian Prep's Undefeated Season over After Ten Games

If Paradise Valley Christian Prep was feeling good fresh off their 31-5 takedown of Berean Academy last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Panthers lost 16-6 to the Eagles on Saturday. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Paradise Valley Christian Prep saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Evie Williams, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Rachel Anderson was another, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

Having lost for the first time this season, Paradise Valley Christian Prep fell to 9-1. As for Berean Academy, with the win, they broke their five-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5.

Coincidentally, Paradise Valley Christian Prep and Berean Academy will both be playing Ajo the next time they take the field. The Eagles will head out to face the Red Raiders at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will head out to face them at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
