Basketball Game Preview: Penns Grove Red Devils vs. St. Augustine Prep Hermits

The Penns Grove Red Devils and the St. Augustine Prep Hermits will round out the year against one another at at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.

Penns Grove is headed into the contest having just suffered their closest defeat since January 22nd on Friday. They fell just short of Delsea by a score of 53-51.

Meanwhile, St. Augustine Prep posted their biggest win since December 29, 2023 on Saturday. Everything went their way against KIPP Cooper Norcross as St. Augustine Prep made off with a 52-30 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Hermits.

St. Augustine Prep's win bumped their record up to 2-3. As for Penns Grove, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Penns Grove took a serious blow against St. Augustine Prep in their previous matchup back in January of 2016, falling 86-36. That match was all but decided by halftime, at which point Penns Grove was down 41-18.
