Football Recap: Arbor View Finds Home Field Redemption Against Clark

There's no place like home for Arbor View, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Clark Chargers with a sharp 32-7 victory on Monday. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 20-0.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Priscilla Garcia, who threw for 279 yards and four touchdowns.

Arbor View didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Miranda Reiter, Danielle Morales, and Mia Rojas picked up one apiece.

When it comes to explaining why Clark lost, don't look at Ava Reed. Despite the final result, she rushed for 100 yards and one touchdown on only 14 carries.

Arbor View pushed their record up to 3-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 38.2 points. As for Clark, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

Arbor View will be playing at home against Chaparral at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chaparral will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Arbor View surely won't give up without a fight. As for Clark, they will head out to take on Spring Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
