Soccer Game Preview: Bainbridge vs. Sequim

Bainbridge is a perfect 6-0 against Sequim since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Spartans will head out to take on Wolves at 7:00 p.m. One thing working in Bainbridge's favor is that they have posted at least four goals every time they've taken the pitch this season.

Bainbridge's defense heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 12-0 margin over Port Angeles. Bainbridge haven't had any issues with Port Angeles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, in Tuesday's Canine Competition, Sequim didn't have enough. They fell just short of North Mason by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Bainbridge pushed their record up to 11-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up two goals over those six contests. As for Sequim, their loss dropped their record down to 5-5.

Everything went Bainbridge's way against Sequim in their previous meeting back in March, as Bainbridge made off with an 8-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Spartans since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
