Basketball Recap: Lawson Comes Up Short

Lawson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 48-46 heartbreaker at the hands of the Osborn Wildcats. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Cardinals have suffered since December 16, 2024.

Lawson's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Osborn, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-5.

Lawson has already played their next game, a 48-46 loss against Stewartsville on the 22nd. As for Osborn, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 71-65 win against East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] on the 24th.
