It was a good run, but South Walton unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Wednesday. Neither they nor the Niceville Eagles could gain the upper hand so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. The result kept the Seahawks happy, as they haven't lost a game since November 19th.

South Walton's draw gives them a new season record of 10-2-3. As for Niceville, they moved theirs to 4-3-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. South Walton will venture away from home to take on Maclay at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Maclay will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something South Walton surely won't give up without a fight. As for Niceville, they will head out to challenge Gulf Breeze at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Niceville's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
