Basketball Recap: James Cross' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Calvary Christian over Arlington Christian

The Calvary Christian Knights came up short against Arlington Christian on Friday and fell 59-47. The matchup marked the Knights' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Several Knights players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was James Cross, who posted 11 points and three steals. Thanks to that strong game, Cross now owns an excellent 46.5% field goal percentage. Dylan Hosten was another key player, dropping a double-double with 12 points and 18 boards.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Christian fell to 4-1. As for Arlington Christian, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-3 record this season.
