Meanwhile, after a string of three wins, Bradford Prep's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They came up short against Christ the King, falling 40-19. While losing is never fun, the Bears can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina basketball rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Crusaders are ranked 194th).

Community School of Davidson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.8 points per game. As for Bradford Prep, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Everything came up roses for Community School of Davidson against Bradford Prep when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 67-30 win.
