Milford had won five straight games and Jaycee Rigsby did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Milford Bulldogs blew past the Covington Owls 43-8 thanks in part to Rigsby, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and ten steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Milford's points.

Another player making a difference was Samantha Alvarado-Salas, who posted five points and seven rebounds. Those seven boards gave her a new career-high.

Milford is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 27.8 points per game. As for Covington, they dropped their record down to 0-10 with the defeat, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season.

Milford will welcome Bynum at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Covington, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Avalon at 5:00 p.m. on January 31st.
