Volleyball Recap: South Elgin Comes Up Short

South Elgin lost against Hoffman Estates back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Storm took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hawks. The Storm have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-16.

Paige Genke paced South Elgin's offense, picking up four kills. Genke also shared the team's lead in assists with Kiersten Lenox: they picked up eight each.

South Elgin's defeat dropped their record down to 23-10. As for Hoffman Estates, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-21.

Looking ahead, South Elgin will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheaton North at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hoffman Estates, they will take on Addison Trail at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
