Football Game Preview: Hopkins County Central Storm vs. Russellville Panthers

The Hopkins County Central Storm are taking a road trip to challenge the Russellville Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

Last Friday, Hopkins County Central and Kentucky Country Day finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 tie. The game marked the first time this season in which the Storm were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Russellville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 41-6 loss at the hands of Murray. The Panthers were already down big by the end of the third quarter and they stayed that way after failing to score in the fourth.

Hopkins County Central's draw gives them a new season record of 1-3-1. As for Russellville, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
