Lakeside is a perfect 6-0 against Mansfield since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. Lakeside will be playing at home against Mansfield at 4:00 p.m. Lakeside will be strutting in after a win while Mansfield will be coming in after a loss.

Lakeside got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They skirted past D'Arbonne Woods 6-5. That's two games straight that the Warriors have won by just one run.

Meanwhile, Mansfield was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 21-0 to Calvin.

The victory made it two in a row for Lakeside and bumps their season record up to 11-13. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. As for Mansfield, their loss dropped their record down to 0-12.

Everything went Lakeside's way against Mansfield in their previous meeting back in April of 2019, as Lakeside made off with a 15-0 win. Will Lakeside repeat their success, or does Mansfield has a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
