Baseball Recap: Woodbury Find Success

Woodbury won the last time they faced Irondale and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Royals walked away with a 4-1 win over the Knights.

Woodbury got a great performance from Gavin Dahl as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over six innings pitched.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Jack Gessner, who went 3-for-4 with one RBI. Tyler LaMott also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Woodbury now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Irondale, they are on a 15-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.
