Football Game Preview: Conway Christian Eagles vs. Mountainburg Dragons

For the first time this season, Conway Christian will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will welcome the Mountainburg Dragons at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Conway Christian managed to slip by Atkins the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Eagles were beaten by the Red Devils 38-0 two weeks ago. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Mountainburg came up short against Hackett on Friday and fell 28-16. The loss put an end to the Dragons' undefeated start to the season.

Conway Christian now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Mountainburg, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.

Everything came up roses for Conway Christian against Mountainburg when the teams last played back in September of 2024, as the team secured a 44-0 win. Will the Eagles repeat their success, or do the Dragons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
