Basketball Game Preview: Red Bank Lions vs. Hixson Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought when the Red Bank Lions face off against the Hixson Wildcats at 3:30 p.m. on Friday... Red Bank will be strutting in after a victory while Hixson will be coming in after a loss.

Red Bank will head into Friday's matchup hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 30-point drubbing they dealt Howard Tech on Friday. Red Bank simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Howard Tech 60-30. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Lions considering their two-point performance the contest before.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 57-24, which was the final score in Hixson's tilt against Soddy Daisy on Tuesday. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Red Bank now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Hixson, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Red Bank took their win against Hixson in their previous meeting back in January by a conclusive 54-28. Does Red Bank have another victory up their sleeve, or will Hixson turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
