Basketball Recap: Pallotti Piles Up the Points Against Our Lady of Mount Carmel

Pallotti had won four straight at home dating back to last season, but on Tuesday they bumped up to 2-0 to make it five. They blew past the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cougars, posting a 98-20 win. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 70-56 victory the Cougars walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February.

Arianna Harris-Mott went supernova, dropping a double-double with 20 points and ten boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Clifton, who went 6-for-11 en route to 14 points in addition to six steals and five assists.

Pallotti was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since the start of last season.

As for Our Lady of Mount Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss they have suffered since December 13, 2024.

Despite the defeat, Our Lady of Mount Carmel saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Kyra Rideout posted 11 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Tamiya Brown, who scored nine points.

Coincidentally, Pallotti and Our Lady of Mount Carmel will both be playing Mount de Sales Academy the next time they take the court. The Panthers will head out to face the Sailors at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, while the Cougars will head out to face them at 4:00 p.m. on December 12.
