Volleyball Recap: Diagonal Comes Up Short

Diagonal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Mormon Trail Saints. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Maroons of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Diagonal's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Mormon Trail, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Diagonal will face off against rival Murray at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Mormon Trail is set to square off against their familiar foe Moulton-Udell on Saturday.
