Basketball Recap: Odessa Takes a Loss

Odessa was the 61-32 winner over Wilson Creek when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Odessa Tigers took a 54-43 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wilson Creek Devils on Tuesday. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Odessa's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Wilson Creek, they pushed their record up to 12-7 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Odessa won't have much time to rest: their next match is against William Penn at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Wilson Creek, they will take on Cascade Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
