Basketball Recap: Muleshoe Comes Up Short

Muleshoe was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Nazareth Swifts and fell 66-32. The Mules lost against the Swifts in their previous head to head back in December of 2014, too, but the margin this time around was even wider than the 49-40 score last time.

Muleshoe's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Nazareth, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.

Muleshoe wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 59-48 win against Tournament Opponent on the 7th. As for Nazareth, they will take on River Road at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. River Road is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 59.4 points per game this season.
