Basketball Game Preview: Lyman Raiders vs. Wall Eagles

The Lyman Raiders will take on the Wall Eagles at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Lyman didn't have too much trouble with New Underwood as they won 70-52. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Raiders.

Meanwhile, Wall was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Thursday as they fell 66-61 to Hill City. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Saturday (58), the Eagles still had to take the loss.

Lyman's victory bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Wall, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-5.

Lyman suffered a grim 72-46 defeat to Wall in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Lyman avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
