Basketball Recap: Wilton Takes a Loss

Wilton lost against Trumbull back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Wilton Warriors took a blow against the Trumbull Eagles, falling 58-27.

Wilton's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 2-3. As for Trumbull, the victory snapped their losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-4 record.

While Wilton had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
