It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Bonita Vista had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Poway Titans by a score of 8-4. This was a revenge game for the Barons: when they faced off against the Titans back in April, they had to take a 8-6 loss.

DEMARCO ROJAS tossed a big game, tossing five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off five hits.

At the plate, KENSEN JOHNSON was excellent, going 1-for-4 with one home run and two RBI. Another player making a difference was LIAM ZAZUETA, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two runs.

Bonita Vista's victory bumped their record up to 11-18. As for Poway, they dropped their record down to 6-22 with the defeat, which was their ninth straight at home.

Coming up, Bonita Vista will head out on the road to face off against Rancho Bernardo at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Poway does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
