Basketball Recap: Onsted's Victory on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

Onsted won the last time they faced Ida and things went their way on Friday too. The Onsted Wildcats came out on top against the Ida Bluestreaks by a score of 59-48. Given the Wildcats' advantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 56th, while the Bluestreaks are ranked 494th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was Onsted's fourth in a row) raised their record to 18-1. As for Ida, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onsted will venture away from home to take on Clinton at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ida, they will head out to square off against Madison at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
