Basketball Recap: Ninilchik Extends Winning Streak to Two

Ninilchik won the last time they faced Nanwalek, and Kade McCorison did his part to make sure it happened again. The Ninilchik Wolverines came out on top against Nanwalek by a score of 71-58 on Friday thanks in part to McCorison, who dropped a triple-double on 25 points, ten rebounds, and 14 assists. That makes it 14 consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Ninilchik's points.

Eric Rader was another key player, putting up six points. He also put up an assist, which washis first of the season.

The victory made it two in a row for Ninilchik and bumps their season record up to 8-6. As for Nanwalek, their loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Ninilchik beat Nanwalek by a score of 87-64 on Saturday.
