Volleyball Game Preview: Creede Miners vs. Center Vikings + How To Watch

After both having extra time off, the Creede Miners and the Center Vikings will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Creede took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They came out on top against Cripple Creek-Victor by a score of 3-1.

Creede had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 24-26, 25-9, 25-12, 25-14.

Meanwhile, Center had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Pirates.

Creede's victory bumped their record up to 12-6. As for Center, they now have a winning record of 11-10.

Creede couldn't quite get it done against Center in their previous matchup back in October of 2023 as they fell 3-1. Can the Miners avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
