Softball Recap: Hunt Comes Up Short

After flying high against Smithfield-Selma last Thursday, Hunt came back down to earth. The Warriors lost 15-0 to the Southern Nash Firebirds on Tuesday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Firebirds this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in March.

Hunt's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Southern Nash, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Hunt wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 10-3 defeat against Northern Nash on the 23rd. As for Southern Nash, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 15-0 win against West Johnston on the 22nd.
