Baseball Game Preview: South Central Rebels vs. Tell City Marksmen

South Central hasn't had much luck against Tell City recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. The Rebels will host the Marksmen at 11:00 a.m.

South Central is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Friday. They fell 6-2 to Borden.

Hayden Thomasson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI. Dallas Hess also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Tell City never let their opponents score on Thursday. They put the hurt on Crawford County with a sharp 10-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Marksmen in their matchups with the Wolfpack: they've now won four in a row.

Ethan Fields was a standout: he went 1-for-3 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those three RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Landon Sandage, who went 2-for-3 with two doubles, two RBI, and one run.

South Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Tell City, their win bumped their record up to 8-12.
