Soccer Recap: St. Petersburg Catholic Takes a Loss

St. Petersburg Catholic lost against Calvary Christian back in February of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The St. Petersburg Catholic Barons lost 5-0 to the Calvary Christian Warriors. The Barons just can't catch a break and have now endured four losses in a row.

St. Petersburg Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 10-6-1. As for Calvary Christian, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home.

St. Petersburg Catholic and Calvary Christian should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Florida Rankings. St. Petersburg Catholic (ranked 199th) will meet Indian Rocks Christian (ranked 486th) at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Petersburg Catholic is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.5 goals per game this season. Meanwhile, Calvary Christian (ranked 76th) will meet Countryside (ranked 409th) at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday.
