Basketball Recap: Jennings Comes Up Short

Jennings played a tough match on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt a 61-27 defeat at the hands of the Bell City Bruins. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-8.

Jennings has traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Bell City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jennings will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Kinder at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th. Bell City and Singer will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Bell City has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 189 points over their last three contests.
