Volleyball Game Preview: Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles vs. McBee Panthers

The Governor's School for Science & Math Eagles will head out to challenge the McBee Panthers on Monday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Governor's School for Science & Math is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over North. Winning may never get old, but Governor's School for Science & Math sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-10, 25-21.

McBee won the last time they faced Ware Shoals and Emma Goff did her part to make sure it happened again. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Hornets on Wednesday for which the team can thank Goff, who had 11 digs and three aces. She has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last five times she's played.

McBee walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the second set). The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13, 25-21.

Governor's School for Science & Math's record is now 15-4. As for McBee, their record now sits at 17-3.

Governor's School for Science & Math came up short against McBee in their previous matchup last Monday, falling 3-1.
