Cobden had to kick off their season on the road on Monday, but they showed no ill effects. They blew past the Shawnee Redskins 60-32. The Appleknockers have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Redskins, too.

Despite the loss, Shawnee still got an impressive performance from Kyler Jewell, who dropped a double-double with 23 points and 12 rebounds. The game was Jewell's third in a row with at least 17 points.

Coming up, Cobden won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Carrier Mills-Stonefort at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Shawnee, they will also get right back to it: they'll square off against Dongola at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
