Football Recap: San Dimas Saints vs. Pasadena Bulldogs
After only one point in their last contest, San Dimas made sure to put some points up on the board against Pasadena on Friday. The Saints came out on top against the Bulldogs by a score of 33-24. The Saints have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bulldogs, too.
Brandon Meredith threw for 55 yards. Jacob Gallegos was his top target, picking up 55 receiving yards. On the ground, Liam Loyola rushed for 203 yards and one touchdown while picking up 7.8 yards per carry.
Pasadena lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Dutch Burbidge, who threw for 291 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.2 yards per attempt, and also punched in one score on the ground. San Dimas has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it. The victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 24 points this season. As for Pasadena, their record now sits at 1-1.
