Basketball Recap: Banning Broncos vs. Cathedral City Lions
The Banning Broncos had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down Cathedral City 76-57 on Thursday. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Noah Aguilar continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. Mario Teran was another key contributor, scoring 14 points along with two steals.
Banning's victory bumped their record up to 8-19. As for Cathedral City, they have been struggling recently as they've lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-24 record this season.
Banning does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Cathedral City also has no future games currently scheduled.
