Softball Recap: Biloxi Comes Up Short

Biloxi lost against Gulfport back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians fell 12-7 to the Admirals. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Erin Hill stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Another player making a difference was Imani Shannon, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one double, and one RBI.

Biloxi's loss dropped their record down to 12-16. As for Gulfport, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-10 record this season.

Biloxi does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Gulfport, they have already played their next contest, a 4-1 defeat against Petal on the 24th.
