Volleyball Recap: Cactus Shadows Takes a Loss

Cactus Shadows suffered their biggest loss since May 3, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against the Prescott Badgers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Badgers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in April.

The match finished with set scores of 25-21, 25-14, 25-21.

Noah Hernandez was the offensive standout of the match as he had six digs and three aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in April.

Cactus Shadows' defeat dropped their record down to 20-10. As for Prescott, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-13.

Cactus Shadows does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Prescott, they will take on Salpointe Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Badgers are on a ten-game streak of home wins, the Lancers a ten-game streak of away wins, meaning someone's leaving a streak behind.
