Jefferson waltzed into their match on Tuesday with nine straight wins... but they left with ten. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Mount Pisgah Christian Patriots.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (91-88) Jefferson actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-22, 13-25, 25-21.

Jefferson got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Headley out in front who had 23 digs and four assists. Those 23 digs gave Headley a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Annabelle Pritchard, who had nine digs and four aces.

Despite the loss, Mount Pisgah Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Emily Childress had 16 digs and four assists.

Jefferson's win bumped their record up to 23-7. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, their defeat ended a six-match streak of away wins and brought them to 25-13.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Oconee County on the 25th. As for Mount Pisgah Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 victory against King's Ridge Christian on the 25th.
