Baseball Game Preview: Shadow Ridge Stallions vs. West Point Dragons

For the second straight game, Shadow Ridge will face off against West Point. The Stallions will welcome the Dragons at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. Shadow Ridge will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Shadow Ridge lost a heartbreaker the last time they played West Point, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's game. The Stallions were the clear victors by a 14-2 margin over the Dragons on Tuesday.

Shadow Ridge got a massive performance out of Kael Leon, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and two RBI. Leon has become a key player for the Stallions: the team is 6-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 3-7-2 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Owen Gorman, who went 1-for-2 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.

Shadow Ridge now has a winning record of 9-8-2. As for West Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-7-1 record this season.
