Baseball Recap: Desert Christian Comes Up Short

Desert Christian was the 14-3 winner over Palo Verde when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Desert Christian Eagles fell just short of the Palo Verde Titans by a score of 6-5 on Thursday.

Caden Esquerra made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in March of 2024. James Harris also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Desert Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Palo Verde, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Desert Christian has already played their next match, a 10-0 loss against Phoenix Christian on the 17th. As for Palo Verde, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 28-2 victory against San Carlos on the 17th.
