Manning barely beat Timberland the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Manning blew past Timberland 11-1 on Monday. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Monarchs' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

Manning's win ended an eight-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-6. As for Timberland, they are on a 13-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-9.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manning will venture away from home to face off against Kingstree at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kingstree has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 14.5 runs per game on average), something Manning will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Timberland, they will head out to square off against St. John's at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
