Volleyball Recap: Cameron Has No Trouble Against Ladysmith

Cameron barely beat Ladysmith the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Comets were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Lumberjacks on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Comets in their matchups with the Lumberjacks: they've now won four in a row.

Cameron never let Ladysmith on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-22, 25-19.

Cameron's offense was headlined by Jillian Emerson and Addy Ebner, who picked up ten kills apiece. They got some help from Emerson Krahenbuhl and her 18 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Cameron's victory bumped their record up to 13-11. As for Ladysmith, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-15.
