Volleyball Recap: Thornridge Comes Up Short

Thornridge lost against Rich Township back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Falcons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Raptors. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-9, 25-21.

Mason Bryant paced Thornridge's offense, picking up three kills. Bryant got some help from Orlando Gutierrez and his five assists.

Thornridge's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Rich Township, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 9-13.

Coming up, Thornridge will take on Crete-Monee at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons are facing the Warriors at the right time seeing as the Warriors are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Rich Township, they will face off against Nazareth Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
