Softball Recap: Middleburgh Comes Up Short

Middleburgh was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville Wolves, falling 29-1.

Middleburgh's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Middleburgh will head out on the road to take on Mayfield at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Oppenheim-Ephratah-St. Johnsville, they will host Berne-Knox-Westerlo at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
