Softball Recap: Central Florida Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Central Florida Christian Academy lost against Gateway back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Eagles lost 26-6 to the Panthers. The Eagles' loss continues a trend for the team, making it seven in a row.

Susannah Brenyo made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while going 1-for-2. Tatum Ingram was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Central Florida Christian Academy's record is now 3-13. As for Gateway, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 4-8.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Florida Christian Academy will square off against Edgewater at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Gateway, they will take on Poinciana at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 11.33 runs per game on average), something the Panthers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
