Chico strolled into their game on Tuesday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They blew past the Enterprise Hornets 11-1. 11 seems to be a good number for the Panthers as the team scooped up a win with the same number of runs in their previous game.

Vinny Boatwright looked comfortable as he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit any time he's pitched this season.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Jordan Neugebauer, who went 3-for-4 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Jaxon Tweedt, who scored a run while going 3-for-3.

Chico was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive matchups.

Chico pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Enterprise, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chico beat the Hornets by a score of 9-1 on Friday.
