Basketball Recap: Koliganek Takes a Loss

Koliganek lost against King Cove back in March of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Koliganek Huskies came up short against the King Cove T-Jacks and Rookies, falling 72-47.

King Cove's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Brennen Larsen, who posted 20 points. Robert Thompson was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Koliganek's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for King Cove, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

Koliganek does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for King Cove, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Sand Point on February 7th. King Cove has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
