Basketball Recap: Ponitz Career Tech Gets the Win

Withrow came into Monday's matchup looking for another win against Ponitz Career Tech, but Nalayna Cosby wouldn't allow it. The Golden Panthers walked away with a 57-47 victory over the Tigers on Monday with plenty of help from Cosby, who shot 52% from the field to rack up 35 points in addition to seven rebounds and seven steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Ponitz Career Tech's points.

Another player making a difference was Aubree Myles, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 13 boards. She has become a key player for Ponitz Career Tech: the team is 4-2 when she posts at least eight rebounds, but 3-4 otherwise.

Ponitz Career Tech now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Withrow, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11.
